Analysis, Topology and Applications 2010 (ATA2010)

that will be held in hotel “Breza” in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia, from June 20 to June 25, 2010.
All topics on Analysis and Topology with their applications, as well as other subjects related to the main themes are welcome.

LOCATION

Vrnjačka Banja is the most famous Serbian termal spa located about 200 km to the south of Belgrade. Many historical, cultural and tourist places are located in the neighborhood of Vrnjačka Banja.

REGISTRATION

The deadline for registration is February 15, 2010. The registration form must be submitted as an e-mail message sent to the contact person


REGISTRATION FEE

The conference fee is 50 EUR and can be paid upon arrival. It includes coffee breaks, conference material, excursion, welcome party and conference banquet.


ACCOMODATION

All the participants will be accommodated in hotel “Breza” (www.hotelbreza.rs), where the conference will be held. The special price for accommodation and 3 meals is about  25-30 EUR per person/per day and depends on the type of a room. Participants must pay accommodation for 5 days independently of duration of their stay, and organizers will book rooms for them. 


TRANSPORTATION

You have to fly to Belgrade, and then to take a bus from Belgrade to the conference place.

There are buses going from the Belgrade airport Nikola Tesla (=Surčin)  to the city. The price of a ticket is  about 3 EUR. Stop at the Railway Station (Železnička stanica = Zheleznichka stanica) stop; 200 m from this place is the bus station.

The other possibility to reach bus station is to take a taxi at the airport: the price for taxi is about 10 EUR.

There are many buses (about 20 for a day) connecting Belgrade and Vrnjačka Banja; the trip lasts about 3.5 hours, and the price for the one-way trip is 8-10 EUR.
Hotel Breza is about 1km far from the bus station in Vrnjačka Banja.

Some buses (but not all) from Belgrade to Vrnjačka Banja:

6:00, 6:30, 07:30, 7:45, 8:30, 09:00, 9:20, 10:00, 10:15, 10:30, 12:00,
12:30, 14:00, 15:30, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, 20:00.

Buses from Vrnjačka Banja to Belgrade:
04:30 (no on Sunday), 04:50 (no on Sunday), 05:50, 07:00, 07:30,
09:50, 10:15, 12:00, 12:50, 14:00, 15:15, 16:45, 18:15.


NOTE

If you plan to attend the Nafpaktos topological  conference, then you can travel to Greece (to Athens)  from  Belgrade.

PROCEEDINGS

  1. The proceedings of the Topology Section will  be published in a special issue  of Topology and its Applications (guest editors: Lj. Kocinac and Jerry Vaughan).
    All submitted papers must be original contributions and will be evaluated according to the usual high standard editorial procedure of the journal.

  2. Advances in Dynamical Systems and Applications (http://campus.mst.edu/adsa) will publish the proceedings of the Analysis Section as  a special issue.


All articles submitted for consideration must be original contributions and will be refereed in accordance with the usual standards of the journal.

The deadline for submission of papers for Proceedings (a pdf file) is October 15, 2010. 

 

PRESENTATION

Talks will be presented in two parallel sections  (1. Analysis, 2. Topology), and each talk will be 30 minutes.
For presentation one can use a beamer (Power Point or Adobe Reader) or overhead projectors. You can bring also your notebook computer and plug it to the beamer.
Please prepare your presentation as a PDF file or prepare transparencies  for projectors.

INTERNET ACCESS

Hotel Breza has two Internet rooms.  There is also the wireless network in conference rooms and  the reception hall.
